Nice flash... just not for macro.
I bought this flash because it said it was for macro. I shoot all my flower macros at f/22 handheld (for max DOF and freeze-motion) . This flash is way too weak for this. The output intensity or duration cannot be controlled. OK, I expect this at this price. I am prepared to crank up the ISO on my a7R to compensate. However, the flash intensity is NOT enough for shots below ISO 3200 at f/22. Not sure if the duration is enough to freeze motion because I never succeeded in getting anything but a darkened frame! This flash may work for portraits shot wide open, but not for macro at stopped down apertures.

We all Jam up Sometimes.......
Don't be tempted to put more than 5 sheets of paper at a time into this shredder. (Believe me... I'm on my third iteration of this model!) Can jam hopelessly if you overload it. (Don't we all???) Otherwise, works great. Just feed it slowly to avoid terminal indigestion and it will work flawlessly. Auto function permits hands-free operation. Suspends nicely over a large size bin (larger than most shredder bins).

Replacement Sensor for LaCrosse indoor/outdoor thermometer
I bought this to replace the identical sensor for my LaCrosse digital thermometer. After about 5 years outside it stopped working, probably due to moisture. I consider 5 yrs to be a reasonable lifetime considering the rain, snow, ice etc. the unit is exposed to. I wrapped the new one in a ziploc bag and it is working perfectly (as confirmed with a mercury thermometer at the same location). This is a quality instrument and good value for the money.
