Utter disappointment
1 of 2 found this helpful Philips should be ashamed of themselves. The shaver comes with the worst 'user manual' you could imagine. It covers several different shaver models and has few words - just lots of basic outline drawings meant to illustrate the various parts of the shaver and how it should operate. But it's actually very confusing.
Either side of the on/off switch is a large '+' and '-' sign. I've no idea what they are meant to do - again the manual doesn't explain. How often do the blades need cleaning? What is the best way to prolong the life of the battery? Is it best to operate the razor while still plugged into the mains? How often should it be used in the cleaning pod?
I would never buy this again nor recommend it to anyone. For the price it's a real, serious let down.

BMW Satnav disc

Example: on the way to an event from Bournemouth to Salisbury my daughter's iPhone satnav took what I knew was the best route, avoiding Salisbury city centre. On the way back we tried the BMW satnav. It took us through the winding city street's adding at least ten minutes and a much longer distance. I may ignore it in future and install the Garmin satnav I had in another car and thankfully kept. This one never works properly. Oh, and it often tells you which route to take from a roundaboiut after you've left it. Rubbish.

Bestek BEST power invertor
There is a myriad of 12v to mains inverters out there - and virtually all are clunky, unexciting beasts. This is different. Someone really thought about the design and came up with a winner.
It's the size and shape of a standard drinks can. It means that in my car it can sit in the drinks holder and the 12v lead is long enough to fit in the cigar lighter socket.
The 13 amp mains socket is very accessible right on the top. When you've finished with it it all packs away inside the can and a plastic top fits over the end and it can then sit in the glove compartment waiting for its next use.
Brilliant.
