Top notch.y.

This is a top notch Sony product. The last of the good ones produced by Sony. High speaker output with low distortion. CD player is high quality. Radio reception is excellent on all bands. The unit plays back MP3 CDs perfectly. The unit also has a line-in socket allowing playback from other sources. (iPod and any other device with a line-out or headphone socket). I totally recommend this product. Sony at its best!

Avoid Varta

Avoid this brand. By far the worst batteries I've ever encountered. Despite being let down by Varta in the past, I was stupid enough to buy another as a friend said "They're a lot better these days" He's still my friend, but only just! I bought Yuasu instead (better value too!) and it has been perfect. Interestingly, (well I thought!) A friend who is a salesman for VW insisted his customers bought other makes of batteries for their VW's if they needed a replacement. From the horses mouth!
