A true flamenco guitar
1 of 1 found this helpful The guitar has the authentic flamenco sound and action. It is a bargain in it's price range and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to venture into flamenco. Yamaha has outperformed itself with this instrument.

A'50's like archtop
I have a D'Angelico and a Loar but this guitar really takes me back to the 1950's and I was around then. The first pickup I ever had was the DeArmond attachable and the 1100 on this guitar is better looking and much better sounding with nice warm tones. It is a big guitar (17 inches at the lower bout) with 3" of depth and all archtops should be big to get that jazz sound. Nice rosewood fingerboard; I applied a dressing and it looks like ebony and places as well. And it is blond beauty and finished nicely. So far so good
Some feed back so the amp has to be positioned right.
