Wonderfully observed happy family life
Wonderful film!! Watched it many times, and still I laugh and am moved in all the appropriate places. The engaging family, every member, are so real, played by wonderful actors, even the littlest. I have just bought the original book by Kathryn Forbes. The film sticks quite closely to the book, and it has some added description which you might not notice in the film. It is always a good film (or book) when you feel like you are part of it - and wish you were part of it. I go around talking like the Swedish chef from the Muppets! You too will 'Remember Mama'.
