A True Voltage Standard
While the 731B has been superseded by the 732, it represents great value for money as a Laboratory Standard for Voltage. Internal batteries may need replacing but this is a simple task.

A Great Counter
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the ancestor to the very popular and now relatively expensive HP 5335A/B, it is a lot smaller and lighter than the 5335 and the current used price is also 'lighter'! It has a great LED display and the frequency resolution in single shot mode is very close to the 5335. This era of HP gear can have the "clacky" button problem but there are well known fixes for this. Good operating and service manuals are available and the build quality is exceptionally good.
