Highly addictive!
The game installed quickly on my Windows XP system and is very easy to play. The software concentrates on game play with no fancy graphics, and gives lots of options for games. You can choose the skill level of your opponent and gradually work your way up the levels as your own skill increases; you can play a solo game to improve your tactics, or a timed game, or even play a live opponent, although you will have to hand the computer back and forth to conceal your tiles from them.
I liked the Hint function which works really well, and although the computerised opponent obviously knows the internal dictionary and some very weird words, you can access the dictionary or try out any odd combination of letters without penalty, which evens things up a bit. Sometimes you find yourself being given sets of tiles like 7 vowels or consonants, but the invisible opponent must get bad sets too because it often passes its turn to exchange its invisible tiles, which is a bit surreal!
Negatives - the game occasionally crashes, and I can't find a Save function while playing, so if you're doing really well I suggest exiting the game to save it and then returning. Some useful words, like zen, are missing from the dictionary, and there is no option to update it yourself. Apart from that, the only downside I can think of is that this game is using up too much of my spare time!

Light but sturdy, easy to use, and very light.
These shears are light and easy to use, and so sharp that they cut through long grass with ease. I could use them for long periods without getting tired, which is unusual for me, my wrists are quite weak. Really glad I bought these!

Great low-light camera
This is the best camera I have found for taking photos in low light without a flash; apparently it is the same as the F40fd. It was produced I think for one retailer so there aren't many reviews around for the F45fd, but check out reviews for the F40fd and they should apply to this model. It produces nice clean images at high ISO levels, which means that you can photograph people without using the flash, and take photos inside buildings like churches without blurring, which is why I bought it. Fuji is famous for making cameras with good low light performance and I think that at 8.3 megapixels this one manages to maintain that ability without introducing image noise in the pursuit of megapixel power. It also has two dial settings which are tailored for low-light use - Natural, and Natural plus Flash (takes two photos, with and without flash, for you to choose later which is best), as well as a handy Museum scene mode which turns off both flash and sounds. It doesn't have any mechanical form of image stablisation which would have made it even better, but apart from that it has most features found on modern digital compacts.
I liked: Great low light performance; comfortable to hold; natural colours; easy menus; two dial scene positions so you can get quickly to your two favourite scene modes; clear screen; reasonable amount of control over most settings, including manual white balance; a quick review mode which can be set to zoom so you can instantly see how sharp a photo is; the option of using xd or sd cards.
I would have liked: Image stablisation (not just raised ISO); ability to use SDHC cards, but that could be updated with firmware if I had a usb cable; more useful choices in the quick Function menu; wider angle lens; greater zoom.
