Easy to use, zero is repeatable

This item is inexpensive but does not appear to be cheaply made, but of course it is not a Starrett. However, the zero repeats, and the reading on a standard is accurate. This a decent item for the price. I would recommend.

TEKTON 6580 Automatic Center Punch New

Very Good for the Price

When I received my TEKTON automatic center punch, I immediately put it to use. In the first 2 hours I had it, I had used it 20+ times on lead, wood, aluminum, cast iron, and steel, and it never faltered. Of course it doesn't leave a center punch mark like a center punch struck with a ball peen hammer, but it leaves one deep enough to mark and start for a center drill, or to spot a manual center punch to use a hammer to deepen the mark. I am very satisfied with mine and plan on buying another, or two. They are handy.
