Cool looking casual/sport watch that you can wear to work
1 of 2 found this helpful I have been wearing Panerai, Rolex, Omega, Fortis and several other swiss watches to work for the last 5-6 years. Everyday I go to work and take my watch off before working on my computer. Between working from my desk and going to meetings I put on/take off my watch almost half dozen times a day. Finally, after getting tired of this routine, I decided to buy something cool looking, but light and comfortable. I saw this Altichron few months back at a store here in Melbourne, Aus, and realised that this will be perfect. Also I wanted to buy a black PVD/DLC coated watch, but stayed away from buying PVD or ceramic case Panerai given its price and the fact that coating does not age nicely and not worth spending almost 10K on a PVD coated watch. Hence this watch is a perfect alternative, as it is cheap, light, comfortable and has DLC coating which is suppose to be better than normal PVD. I have now bought several Nato straps for it, and change them often to suit what I wearing it with. Also, the original rubber strap is super comfy but for some reason pick up a lot of dust/fibres and looks dirty. I had to wash it every few days to look clean.
To sum it up, buying this watch on eBay was a bargain, that I am very happy with, and strongly recommend to all who won't mind buying a very high quality non-swiss made watch. And it won't hurt your pocket at all either :-)
