great product for little money

the ultimate guitar arsenal in one gorgeous body
This Variax Limited Edition Series works perfectly for me.
It's a solid build, the feel is nice, weight just about right and well balanced, planty of sustain and the low attack that allows for fast playing. Compared to my other Variax this one has a much better workmanship: gorgeous flamed maple, nice paint and the surface is buffed like a mirror. Its gorgeous!
The in-built magnetic PUs do feel "cold" for my taste but this can be easily balanced out with the tone knob. In terms of dynamics I very much like them.
No doubt the main motive for buying a Line 6 guitar is its Variax system. Now that works like butter. There are tons of pre-programmed vintage electric, classical and acoustic guitar sounds, plus a wast collection of other acoustic string instruments such as banjos, mandolins, etc. You can alter tuning of those on the fly. If you want to be more specific altogether you can access all of these and save your favourites via the user-friendly Variax Workbench HD software.
However, to reach its full potential you'll have to plug it in the Line 6 Helix. Here you can play your vintage Strat, Tele or Les Paul as convincing as it probably gets. With the Helix you only need one cable and no battery is required. The tones of the Variax-guitar-arsenal are delightful and without any hum.
I have to make one complain though. The tremolo system feels very nice but goes out of tune pretty fast. Guess it needs some work done.
All in all, I'm very happy for playing and owning one.

These Bessey clamps are totally worth it. I use them for all kinds of woodworking and I work with steel as well. They may not look like it but Besseys can handle anything. The biggest advantages are: built quality, fast fastening and they come in various lengths. I cannot recommend them enough.
