Good with small diamter line
OK for para-cord but you should consider blunting the tip as it snags. For stranded bankline it's great!

Highly recommend!
This is the second Quad Tec I purchased. Both are great. The second was bought for my son. As we use these for camping and hiking the red lens is always in place. When turned on no one is blinded that way. If you need the white just side the lens up.
You can't use this as a "headlight" for cycling as the lumens aren't enough BUT it's still plenty bright for camping, first aid, changing tires, finding gear as well as plenty of light for normal hiking. you could run on a trail at night if you were so inclined.
First "click" bright light, 2nd dim light, 3rd Strobe, 4th OFF Comes with a red, blue and green (best for topographical map reading at night as the red will cause the elevation contour lines to be invisible!)
I'd buy this again any time and highly recommend!
