Great movie, deeper than you would expect.

The movie is a bit dark story wise, but endearing. I like that it is claymation as it has the cartoon effect of being very stylized and yet there is depth. This is the english dubbed version, but it is originally French. As a person who was raised in the foster system in the US, I feel for the characters. This is not something to put on for kids and then walk away. Not to say that kids can't watch it, it's not inappropriate, but it deals with darker themes like losing a parent and abuse and they may have questions.
