Vonyx vs Gorilla

Build quality is as good as Gorilla DBS Pro 2 stand, it’s lighter and the carry case and covers are a better quality and thicker. Once unpacked you are faced with individually wrapped parts which simply click into place with spring bolt type fixings. Once on, you can leave them in place when folding up the stand or take them off. The stand fits in the bag either way ( ours are left on for time issues and ease of use) Folding out the stand is a doddle. The 3 sides are sturdy and when I remembered to put the little screw in feet they were level as well. Once open you can access the two halves of the deck stand shelf, which simply slots together and is secured underneath by 3 wing nut type fixings. This can then be slid into place on the cross bars. Then all that’s left is the cover, either black or white both supplied, to be fitted and tied into place. Easily done by 1 person. The final wins for Vonyx is they send overseas, (Gorilla don’t) and they are cheaper, without quality compromises. Big plus for me.
