1 of 1 found this helpful Worked strait away on my LCiii with default install of OS 7.6.1 without even needing the drivers. (using open transport) It had no issues connecting to my modern gigabit switch directly when specifying manual IP address, gateway and dns addresses. It would not draw DHCP on a modern switch.
Card also worked with system 701'dot' on an LCii with classic networking and could draw a dhcp address when connected through an old 10bT hub. The driver disk was needed for this.
I had a previous card which came with the computer that did not function. It looked like it was trying but never got any signal out. And Asente which may have bad caps. I decided to order this one to see if that would correct the problem, after fighting with the old one for many hours. So i didn't have high hopes, but when it worked, I was thrilled.
Card was in perfect shape and no cap leakage.
