After receiving a replacement for a rod which was damaged in transit I ended up with a rod in which the top section eyes were closed with resin and the handle had al large score which was hidden under a label ,since I had enough trouble trying to get in touch about the first one I've decided not to go down that route again "too many buses and boats"..............
