It’s a replacement!
A Braun branded replacement service part. Restores your shaver to “as new performance”. Identical to the original but not worn out by a number of years use!

Less sophisticated than previous model but maybe will last longer
Bought this as replacement for previous model which had a flow related filter life indicator, which failed eventually. This model appears to just rely on the calendar - less sohisticated but likely more reliable. The previous model also had rubber feet. This one does not - maybe I should have given it only four stars!. Does the job, fits easily in the fridge door.
