Much better than USB wireless adaptor
Was using an ASUS USB wireless adaptor, but the signal consistently dropped out every 15 minutes for a period of about 30 seconds. Switched to this PCI-E version and the signal has been strong and flawless

Best Center Speaker I've Heard!
The sound quality is ridiculously good! Not sure if I believe in speaker "break-in", but at first it seemed ever so slightly harsh and only a minor upgrade to my Dali Zensor Vokal. After 2 weeks I would not describe this speaker as harsh at all and is now a huge upgrade over my last center!
I am using this center in a TV cabinet and initially I had the voice-right switch set to "in cabinet" to compensate for the additional midbass. I personally did not like the sound as much and it probably added to my initial first impression of the speaker being slightly harsh due to the reduction in midbass.
I now have the voice-right set to "on-stand" and have applied acoustic treatment inside the cabinet where the center sits. I have never had such good sound coming from a center speaker!

Awesome features, but misses some integration
I installed the X901D-G6 into my VW golf to eventually run a custom sound system.
The time correction and EQ features are amazing for the sound but there are a few small issues:
- slight hiss noise coming from the speakers when no music playing (I'm hoping this will be quieter when using external amps)
- Factory reverse camera does not integrate without aftermarket adapters. (instructions do not address this issue at all)
- you need original microphone in golf for Handsfree to work. I had an aftermarket Kufatech Fiscon Bluetooth system and need to do some custom work to get the microphone working properly.
- The MFD features aren't working as yet eg. Navigation, Current song playing. Perhaps it needs some coding changes through VCDS.
While I love the build quality of this product, I found the supplied instructions disappointing. The instructions were good enough to allow the user to easily fit the uni to the vehiclet, but did not address at all how to integrate a reverse camera. The wiring diagram is poor for such a flagship product.
I also found it disappointing that you still have to purchase aftermarket accessories to allow some features to work such as DAB or if you want pre-outs for an external amp. I would expect this from a cheap unit but not from a flagship product that is supposed to 100% integrate into the Golf 6.
I purchased this unit for its factory integration and sound quality. While the integration side of things has been slightly disappointing, I look forward to getting some custom amps/speakers running from it
