I already tried the Theta SC-2 and was disappointed, but the Theta X has much better image quality and features that make it easier and faster to use. If you are trying to decide between these two models, go with the Theta X, no doubt about it.

2 Pack of Thermostats with Seals Johnson Evinrude Mercury Mariner 5005440 75692

They don't work on V-6 motor. Not a true replacement for 75692.

These generic thermostats may be OK for a small motor but water flow was not adequate for my Mercury 150. They fit like the originals but you can see that even wide open the water passage is tiny which resulted in a noticeably weak indicator (pee) stream and overheating almost as soon as the boat was up on plane. We shut down the motor, pulled the new thermostats out, put the old ones back in, and operation was immediately back to normal. Guess I'll be ordering some Mercury OEM t-stats.

Simple and works well

I bought this to replace an identical float switch in my boat that had finally failed after 20 years of saltwater use. Hopefully this new one is made as well as the old one, but if it lasts only half as long it will still be a good value.
