Unputdownable sheer enjoyment by a modern day Shakespear, George Martin is the true magician here.
2 of 2 found this helpful A true page turner spread so far over seven books, separately these will cost in the region of £70 so this nicely presented boxed set with a nice map of the seven kingdoms is an unmissable bargain.
I’ve read the whole seven books in ebook format some years ago but this time I’m enjoying the actual paper book experience.
From the start of this saga your are introduced artfully to all the great and not so great characters heroes are made and die along with Kings and Maesters the story is a web of deceit and treachery battling with devotion and love which has many twists and surprises. Third should please anyone with an interest in action, drama, and wonder all threaded along a path of magic, white walkers and Dragons.
