Does not meet advertised hearing improvement feature
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this as upgrade from RS-185 because of advertised features for hearing impaired which I am. When the speech mode for hearing impaired is turned on the volume is decreased from 110 db to 85 db (numbers come from customer service) which information is not in their literature. This makes the headphones useless as an improvement for people like me that are hearing impaired. They may help those with a slight problem but are useless for those like me that have a major problem. The engineers got it wrong as they reversed what should happen. Going to the voice mode should increase the volume not decrease as they have done. Totally a waste of good money since this headphone is not an improvement over the RS-185 for the hearing impaired. Nice selling feature but it does not perform as advertised.
