Constant leaking

I was excited to use this cordless iron. If it had not been for the leakage, I would’ve been thrilled with it. It’s affordable, easy to use, portable and the instruction manual was helpful, and it initially ironed my shirt perfectly. The iron then started leaking water from somewhere under the plate. It wouldn’t stop no matter what angle I tried to hold the iron at. I tried multiple times to get a successful shirt ironed but each time it left my clothes and the floor with wet patches. Eventually I gave up and emptied the iron. I tried to use this iron once after receiving it and got it refunded since, which was no problem.
