Crank Preservation
Easy to apply - I used a weak soap solution to clean the cranks of grease or dust, used the same solution to wet the stickers. I could then easily move them to get the right position. Worked the bubbles out of the front face and warmed with a hairdryer to help form the sides. Pushed out the rest of the bubbles and applied some more warming to set the glue.
Pretty straightforward and near enough invisible when on. Only change is that the logos will now look glossy, rather than satin.

Nice Rich Sound
These buds are very light and comfortable. The buds have a more rounded shape that sits in the ear, for me they are more comfy than the stock buds that you get with most Sony Xperia devices.
They are the type that hang from your ears with the cable in front of you, not the design with a short and long cable that wraps around the neck. This design means less snags on collars and rucksacks. They are light and secure enough to stay in ear but I would have liked some kind of clip to secure them to a jacket or shirt.
Sound quality is very well balanced. They sound rich with good but not overpowering bass. The silicon tips create a good seal that cuts out exterior noise.
