Great filter coffee
Espresso coffee is lovely, don't get me wrong, but there's nothing nicer than properly brewed filter coffee. This machine replaced our old Philips which lasted abuot 18 years and was - at the time - one of the first to have an insulated thermos flask to keep your brew hot. It never failed us until it 'died' of old age. This new one is an updated and further improved version. The flask is much lighter, the flask lid has an ingenius sliding system - one way for pouring, the other for opening the flask completely. The on/off switch at the front and an override at the back are also an improvement. In all other respects, it does what you want - it makes excellent coffee, keeps it hot for a long time too, eg I make a full pot before a dinner party so that the coffee is ready when I want it, and you'd never know it was in the kitchen for perhaps an hour or two. All in all - excellent and bought from a great German supplier at continental prices. Happy Happy!
