  It was in good condition, not quite unopened new, but it looked it. The packaging was a bit optimistic, being a film of bubble wrap around the official box, but it arrived undamaged by good luck, and it arrived very promptly via recorded delivery. I suppose I paid a bit over the odds for the "brand new" thing but my wife couldn't tell the difference, and she is made up with her new laptop.
