Reduces pain gradually - don't expect miracles
For long term back pain which I've had for many years, I find this helps - and I've used all the other devices under the sun which generally haven't helped much. I use it at night and tape it using a couple of plasters (rather than the band thing) to my low back which I find more comfortable (and cooler) and easier to move around at night. I might start also using it during the day. The important bit - I've found it slowly but surely reduces the pain levels and if you're in my situation any reduction, even small, is worth pursuing. Don't expect miracles - it's not suddenly going to 'cure you'. I've been using this device every night for two months now and I'm confident it's not just a placebo.
