Jagwire MTB Bike Sport Linear Pull V-Type Brake Shoes Rim Pads Threaded BULK
16 Jul, 2021
Good pads, easy on rims, get if at a competitive price
These are decent pads, they drop pretty well and they don't seem to damage the rims; the disadvantage is that they might not last as long as some other pads. I would rather the pads wear out rather than the rims. I bought them because the price was good for name brand pads, although I hadn't heard of the brand before. Get them if you see them at a decent price.
Wireless Bone Conduction Headset BT 4.2 Headset Earphone Stereo Headphone
04 Dec, 2019
Lightweight, excellent price, pairs easily, rich sound, bone conduction
Bluetooth pairing (UPDATED 2020-01-16): I use these headphones with several devices including a Dell E7240 laptop, Nexus 5x, Google Pixel, iPhone SE, and Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. It paired quickly with all of them. Currently I have the headphones paired with four devices; note they will attempt to connect with the last connected device when powered on, unless disconnected by that device first. If you can't connect to the headphones, check one of your other devices to see if already connected. Sound: Rich sound with the included rubber "boots" installed (you can see one installed in the picture if you look carefully) that appear to passively conduct sound into the outer ear in addition to bone conduction. In pure bone conduction mode, I found the sound a bit hollow compared with modestly priced Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds. The boots don't fit tightly in my ears and I think this is by design so I can still hear ambient sounds such as traffic noise when I'm running. Battery life: They last a couple of hours, charging time is about half that with the included two-headed microusb cable (I use my own cables). Be careful when plugging in the charging cables to avoid splitting the plastic seam. (UPDATE: I originally described the battery life as so-so but I think it is as good as current battery technology allows given the small size and low mass) Comfort (added 2019-01-08): They are comfortable to wear though they can fall of my ears to the ground if jostled. Listening to music is more like open air music rather than piped directly into my ears, and I like this feeling. Instructions: Small instruction booklet with English and Mandarin Chinese. English instructions also printed on back of box. The headphones themselves have English and Mandarin Chinese voice prompts available for connection and pairing messages (you can only change language prompts when the headphones are not connected to any device). Overall: I'm happy using these as my main headphones for running as well as listening to music or watching a video around the house untethered by a physical cable. For me they make all earbuds obsolete, including Apple iPods. You can't go wrong at this price.
1080P HDMI Male to VGA Female Adapter Video Converter with Audio Output N3

Make use of your old VGA monitors, works smoothly including audio cord
It was plug and play for an intel NUC. I tried the audio cord, that worked well. HDMI to VGA adapters used to be pricey, now they are a few dollars and very cost effective to make use of surplus VGA monitors. No way to know how long this device will last but it seems well built and is working well so far.
