Bracket/grip for Olympus OM-D E-M10. This one DOES NOT FIT!
First, there are some small nipples that are designed to "lock" into the camera base. But the spacing on these IS NOT the same as the spacing of the indentations that the grip needs to lock into. So.... if you tighten the grip down, in is NOT firmly on the camera base. It has stresses created because the nipples are resting on the camera base, NOT dropping into the proper indentations on the camera body.
Lastly, it is just about impossible to remove the SDS card from the camera base. I can get the battery with a bit of shaking; but the SD car is just about impossible to shake loose. I have tried to reinsert then press quickly to see if it will sort of "jump" fro the spring tension on the adapter slot. I have also used my fingernail to try and snag a small groove on the SD card, But basically, the grip hinders access to the card AND to the battery. I di have to remove the grip a couple of ties to get the SD card changed.
I ALSO had to file the grio where it fit over the battery/SD card door. ONce I got the thing to fit properly, there was not enough clearance for the door to open. I could NOT use the grip without (A) Filing and removing part of the frame, or (B) I suppose I could have filed some on the battery door to get clearance, at the risk of crating a gap that dirt and other crud could get into. I used a Sharpie with a broad point to help to color the frame where I had ground on it.
SO..... I LIKE the idea of using a grip on thi camera body. My hands are too stiff, and too large to comfortably hold the camera. However, this IS NOT the grip to buy., It does not fit, and does not provide decent access to the battery or to the SD card. Even with my modifications, this grip IS NOT acceptable.
So, the casting is well done. It looks like quality work. There are no rough edges.
But it DOES NOT fit, and needs to be modified to use it at all. Do not buy this unless you plan to work on it quite a bit. And even after I spent an hour or so using a file and an emery board to remove material, it STILL DID NOT WORK properly. This is unfortunate, as it really does appear to be well made, and has a very good feel to it. I should have returned it to get my money back, but for the price, I figured I wouls see if I could make it work. I failed.

Improved Sight Picture
I had some trouble removing the roll pin. But once that was done, installation was snap.It makes a huge difference in the sight picture. It is much easier to acquire a target.

LensPens are really worth the money
For years I would NOT spend the money to buy one of these. They were $10-$15 for a single pen, years ago. But you can usually find a lower price than that, now; AND, they really do work well. Sometimes I might use a liquid lens cleaner and a wipe to get the really grungy stuff off. But what is left is always cleaned with the lens pen. Liquid cleaner and wipes do NOT leave a lens as clean as these pens do. I have never scratched a lens, or scratched a coating. I do manage to get gritty stuff off with a soft brush (or use the brush built into the lens pen.)
If you have NEVER tried one of these, I strongly recommend that you do so. They really do last for a long time, and they really work well.
