Effective seat post design with one front and one rear adjustment allen bolt.
My previous stock seatpost for a TREK 820 Mountain Bike was a single allen bolt design with a interlocking sawtooth seat angle adjustment method. The sawteeth wore out over time which should not have happened. The seat post that I just purchased has front and rear adjustment allen bolts. Once seat angle was set, the seat showed no sign of slippage and seemed to have a positive locked-in position feel.

PB4Y-1 replacement sprue for Kit 2114
This was a part sprue that was left out of the ACADEMY 2114 PB4Y-1 Liberator box that I purchased as is. Upon going through the kits available on EBAY, I found the sprue set that I needed to complete the kit parts required. Completely unexpected and a welcome find. The B-24 series by ACADEMY is considered by many to be the best kits of the aircraft in 1/72 scale.
Thanks to the vendors on EBAY, I now have a complete kit!

Rough evaluation of Squadron Crystal Clear replacement vacuum form canopy in 1/48 scale.
Squadron produced a replacement canopy for the 1/48 scale Grumman XF5F-1 Skyrocket prototype of the late 1930's. The vacuum formed canopy is part of the Squadron Crystal Clear replacement canopy series. Clarity is decent and the product supplies two canopies, I guess one for goof and the other for actual use, if the first one gets messed up. I recommend it due to the injection clear plastic canopies are usually thicker than actual scale canopy thickness. This will give a muddled clarity, at times, unless you perform a sanding and polishing sequence to the injection plastic surface. Vacuum form canopies usually does a better job and the scale thickness is easier to work with especially for open canopies. Both cases usually involve Future acrylic floor polish to improve transparency on either the injection clear plastic or vacuum form product.
