Weird but wonderful
I don't usually read graphic novels, but I found this compelling reading. The interaction of three plots is full of surprises, and the overall resolution (though not unexpected) is satisfying and has gravitas. Excellent artwork -- effectively moving between the heroic and the understated.

Gallipoli through the eyes of an underage soldier
Victor (14) joins up at the outbreak of the Great War. He is among the first to land at Anzac Cove and the among the last to leave. This diary-form account is compelling and informative. A great introduction to the soldiers at Gallipoli for young readers.

Too much lycra, not comfortable
Tight, feels very elasticky, like an old-fashioned girdle, not comfortable. At size 24, tummy-control lycra isn't going to make a noticeable difference. I should have bought plain un-lycra cotton.
