Needs DIY for it to be right fitted
Bought this for my radio replacement.
The heater unit/air con goes up the top where the glove storage goes! The instructions are not brilliant and if you are not DIY savvy you will find it hard to fit! Some of the plastic bits, ie.. where clips together, I had to cut and put a soldering Iron to make its secure etc.. the clips don’t clip together very well.. so needs DIY to make them fit.
The cable for the heating unit/control panel,. You need to take it apart to connect the extension cable. Doesn’t show you on the instructions.
The item is No way worth the cost. But unfortunately you don’t have a choice if you wanna put in a better radio etc..
All in all... it’s done the job..

My BMW X1 speakers just woke up!!!
I bought a smart screen radio for my BMW X1 2010. I put in a subwoofer in the boot and speaker under the seat. Only being that the smart screen radio I bought wasn’t very loud etc..
I done some research and found this amplifier that goes between the radio and the speakers.
Thought I’d give it a go..
And good god.. it’s like my speakers had a hidden life.. they now are very much alive and kicking..
I did have a problem in the beginning,. It was only rear speakers worked. But after 1-2 hours I found the amplifier has switches.
So if you find only part of your speakers work.. play around with the switches on the amp.
Top bit of kit.. definitely 110% you will be happy 😃 if you like loud music 🎶
