Nice!
I'm actually rather impressed with the quality of sound from something so small, and inexpensive! I put it into a Norris Engine I was working on, and it fit perfectly in the tender.

Fujifilm FinePix S7000
2 of 2 found this helpful Without a doubt one of the best cameras I've had. I do artistic photography, and honestly, for the price (about $800 when they were new, and you can find them on ebay from $150 to $200... and they are honestly worth twice that, or more!) The macro setting is fantastic for getting those smaller-r details for close up photography (ebayers wanting to sell things lke action figures, or collectables, take heed... you want this camera!) The extras you can buy for it make it quite versatile. It even does a good job with the telephoto lense at taking pictures of trees far off in the dark! The only drawback is the exposed lense housing. this will be my second S7000 due to the lense being damaged on my first (about a $200 repair at a decent repair shop) however, i found the perfect solution for that problem, and that is getting the after market available adapter (an adapter tube for the various lense extentions, such as telephoto, or wide lense, or additional macro lenses if you need to photograph smaller) and then fitting the tube with a lense filter. You get better pictures, while protecting the lense housing from accidental damage, and the tube, with filters are going in the $30 to $40 range on ebay depending on where you look, and how many filters you buy with it. There are a wide variety of filters that are compatable, and they are not all just Fuji ones either... any 55mm filter seems to fit, and excell with this camera.
I highly recomend this model of camera for anyone starting out in the photography hobby, or even, dare I say, starting out in the photography business. A recomendation to the professionals out there (not that I'm any expert) but this model is quite an adiquate back up camera, with both the quality and versatility of a pro, but the appearance of a professional as well. Plus, at the price, it gets the job done, without the tears if something, heaven forbid, should happen to it in the field, unlike a camera that costs $1k or more...
As for picture quality... again, it produces professional pictures, pure and simple... taking pictures of a suit of armor tonight, I was able to see details in the image that aren't even noticable with the naked eye (such as the chain mail, and mask under the closed helm) and honestly, I find the camera quite remarkable, indeed!
I'm very happy with my purchase, and well, it's just a shame that Fuji doesn't make this model any longer. But, on the bright side, it just means more secon hand models on the market at reasonable prices. (oh, and no, mine is NOT for sale! EVER!)
Cheers!
