Good-looking protection for your watch
My two, hundred-year-old Waltham pocket watches were in sore need of protection whilst not being worn. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a display case, so I went for these wooden boxes. They are a perfect fit, look great, and have a solid, well-made feel. So much better than a cheap cardboard box.
I would very much recommend these. They aren't super cheap, or super expensive, but I would say they are well worth the price

Warm, stylish if a little tight
This was just what I wanted in terms of looks and warmth. Very cosy, especially around the ears. The 'one size fits all' didn't quite hold true. It was very tight on my large head, and I had to stretch it with a hat jack. But that did the job, and overall, I am very pleased with it

A decent kit, with photoetched parts
I haven't built a model ship in 50 years, so this kit came as a pleasant surprise. The detailing is good, and the inclusion of some (basic) photoetch a real bonus. Instructions are OK, but not amazing. Some of the pictures of small photoetch parts don't really show what needs to be done. But overall, this is building into a nice model. Will be trying the Combrig models next, which have excellent coverage for the WW1 Royal Navy.
