Mid 90’s gem.
Great album. A different direction from their previous and encompasses some 90’s sounds but still Queensrÿche. Great vocals, complex arrangements and killer guitar.

Back to the better days
For those of you who haven't heard this yet and are waiting for Velvet Revolver to sort themselves out, this is well worth getting. Released in 1995, while Axl Rose was plotting the downfall of Gn'R, this more than stands up alongside other albums featuring Slash. The band consist of Slash, Gilby Clarke, Matt Sorum, Mike Inez and a singer who I'm ashamed to say I've never heard of before or since and can't remember his name. (sorry!) There are also writing credits for Duff McKagen, so you could argue that this is more Gn'R than the current Chinese Takeaway offering. The singer is infact very good with a raw sound similar to the late Shannon Hoon, and the music harks back to the classic Gn'R lineup. This is the album they should have released after Appetite For Destruction.

Excellent purchase. Two great albums from a top band in their prime with 14 extra bonus live and demo tracks. Used to have this on cassette, vinyl and VHS but the quality of these has long since faded, but am now looking forward to getting re-aquainted with some of my favourite long lost tunes.
