Not always easy to find parts for long out of production cars. In my case 31 years old. This part was just what I was looking for.

Quite literally a journey back in time.
This book was published in the early 1970s and was designed for the British driver touring Europe. Of course so much has changed in the last 40 years that a lot of what has been written has been surpassed but nevertheless it makes fascinating reading. Large scale driving from the UK to Europe for a holiday really took off in the 1970s and at the time this book was invaluable, showing routes, local tips, garages and their makes and of course hotels. You can still use it today as a sort of drive down memory lane, quite literally. I have stayed at some of the hotels in the book and have even seen some of the garages that are still in business, awesome. So if you own a classic car (even an Austin Maestro or Montego) or your modern day cruiser and you want some fun driving through Europe of the 70s & 80s this is a great place to start.
