Good cut, clear print
I have several 'Happy Birthday' dies but find this one clean cutting and a clear print. The size of letter makes it suitable to use on various card designs as the words can be separated in a variety of ways. I have cut through glossy and mirror card of various thicknesses; it may need to be turned and passed through a couple of times but this is not detrimental to the finished appearance.

Lacks the strength and impact of the original series of The Thorn Birds
It filled a gap I could have sensibly guessed at. The real shame for me is there is only Richard Chamberlain playing his original role. The actors in this account are shadows compared with those playing the roles originally. Rachel Ward and Bryan Brown would have made such a difference to the conviction of the storyline. The options to comment on value/entertainment/characters are limiting - they can't be just 'yes' or 'no'. The price I paid made it good value, it was entertaining because I was curious about the interpretation of the gap in the original series, I didn't find many of the characters engaging as they did not have the conviction given them by the previous actors.

Excellent value for emergencies
Light is bright but limited beam spread. I keep them around the house in case of power cuts - have overhead cables which get damaged. Excellent value and don't have to consider batteries draining when not in use.
