These have about 10mm additional length ...
These have about 10mm additional length of threaded section over most D-ring camera screws. I needed this for extra strength and security on a special project I am building. Perfect for me, but might bottom out if used in a sub-standard tripod socket.

Great value
These pouches seem very well made. Definitely a great value. Only caveat is that the diameter of the M, L, and XL pouches limits their use to lenses taking 67mm filters or smaller. The S pouch has a slightly smaller diameter--works nicely for my 2X tele-extender.

Just what I needed
I do a lot of my shooting around water, so a dropped camera can mean total loss. For me this is a safety tether. A hand grip could also accomplish that, but with the wrist strap, I can let go of the camera and have both hands free when necessary. Since I am usually shooting a DSLR with battery pack and a zoom lens I don't use it to allow the camera to dangle from my wrist as I move around--too much weight. (If you are using a point-and-shoot it would be fine for that.)
