New GARRETT PRO POINTER II Metal Detector Pinpointer Probe Authorized Dealer

Amateur metal detector user.

I have just gotten into using a metal detector and was using an off brand cheap pinpointer. I bought this Garrett pinpointer and have started using it for one weekend now. I have had a dramatic increase in locating item and finding them faster. It is well balanced and has a good tone so even a person like me with hearing loss can either hear it or feel the vibration. One major problem I have is when using the pinpointer in an area where you leave it on for a period of time and try and put it in the holder the snap (made of metal) causes the pinpointer to go off. This could be fix either by removing the snap or replacing it with a plastic on. I'll have to do this to mine soon as I don't like turning it on and off every time I put it in the holder.

Versatile and very useful

I have used these magnets for a few projects so far and they have preformed perfect. The magnets seem to have a strong field of magnetism this is good in the attracting field and when needed it works great in repealing too. I would like to see them be a little stronger and not be a fragile. Also would like to see if there was a was to have the in different color other than just pain tinting them. Even just one or two souls be nice so they could be hid in projects a little easier.

For my daughter

This is the second pair I have bought for my preteen daughter. The others did not last long at all( just a year). Well that's with her and her friends sharing them on the bus her letting the bull dog listen to them and in general putting them through its paces. I'd have to say nice product and good quality. Reasonable price and comfort.
