Easy to Select
There are so many oils on the market it can be difficult to choose the right one. This oil was recommended to me by a friend for use in old British Motorcycles. He and his father have run old bikes for years so now I will always use Golden Film.

Just like the old stuff
I wanted a good sealant for an old British motorcycle and this looks to be the best I've found.
Many of us may remember the old Red Hermatite and this Hylomar Hylotyte is very similar in texture and it never fully hardens.
I have tried various types of sealant over the years and finally settled on this one after having it recommended to me. It spreads nicely and unlike some silicon sealants, there is no fear of excess sealant finding its way into the oil feed system and causing blockages. There is no need to slap it on everywhere just a smear to cover all the mating face and the satisfaction when you see it squeeze out the joint as you tighten it.
Next time I rebuild an engine I will use Red Hylotyte on all the joints.

Fitting of bike rack
would like to say it looks very good on the bike but the load rating is only 5 kg. The fitting instructions were poor and there were no illustrations to help (a picture is worth a thousand words). You don't need to use all the spacers.
The main disappointment is you have to remove the two handles. The nearside one is so useful to help put the bike on the centre stand.
It takes a bit of practice to use the rack to help with this. I have since seen another style of rack where the handles can stay fitted. Overall I would recommend this rack.
