One of the Best Games Ever .. has (mostly solvable) problems with windows 7/10
The original AoE is still one of my all time favorite games.
I bought three copies so I could play networked with my kids. I had various issues installing to windows 7 and windows 10. I recommend the fan made "Age of Emipres HD patch" - it was the only way this would run on my system. Even yet there are still some issues. But overall, it's playable.
