We haven't had a chance to test these o in the water yet, but the materials and assembly look very, very good. Much nicer and stronger than the diy project we did with crab floats that were much like these and PVC piping. That project cracked into unusable parts on day when I accidentally knocked one over that hadbeen leaning against our minivan. The on piping created and broke in two. On these professionally made stabilizers, the material that I call the arms is made of steel.
