Poorly finished.
The adjustment slots are very rough with the plating poorly applied. This makes proper adjustment difficult. It was well nigh impossible to set it at its widest opening. It needs a lot of work with a file before it can be used adequately. Proper finishing would improve the tool.

Does what it says on the plastic spray bottle!
I'm always sceptical of products that claim to do wonders, but this really did clear up white line to something manageable in a very short time. Very little powdery hoof and no smells now.
No purple stains! Thoroughly recommended.

Good value, though can be improved.
This is a short rack. It comes without the external ram. However, if the original ram on your old rack is in good order, you can make a saving. You get a "remanufactured" rack with new track rods. You will need track rod ends and it is better to buy new ones than use the ones on your old rack. The track rods are the same type as orignal manufactured models, which are OK. However, should you need to replace the nearside rod at a later date, the special removal tool (35-45mm model for this rack) that can be bought on eBay will not be able to grip it as it is partially recessed in the rack. You will have to use one of the more crude removal tools on the market, which can leave marks on the ball housing. I fitted the rack with both rods removed, which makes the job much easier (no need to drop the subframe as the rack can be removed from below), and I used an aftermarket rod for the nearside. These often have a slightly longer ball housing which allows the special tool to grip. The aftermarket rods often come with a lock washer, too, which brings the ball housing further out of the recess. This made fitting the rods when the rack was in place very easy. The quality of the rack is reasonable and the price is good for what you get.
