Ice Princess
Really nice film, suitable for all the family, obviously about ice skating but easy watching. The kids love it!!

At last, a really good biography of a lovely and talented singer-songwriter.
This book offers an accurate and fascinating account of the life and considerable achievements of Agnetha, a modest and shy person from an unremarkable background who had forged a highly successful solo career for herself by the time she was nineteen. Writing and performing her own songs, she knocked the Beatles off the top of the Swedish charts and became a household name in Scandinavia and Germany before she even met the other members of Abba; with whom she would achieve worldwide recognition and undreamed-of success. Her strength of character, dedication to hard work and devotion to her children and family are plain to see. Agnetha's was an ordinary life, made extraordinary by her considerable talents and magnetic personality and this book finally shows her as she truly is; a kind, gentle, shy, strong, beautiful, clever human being with a cystal-clear voice and a wonderful talent for creating and playing music. Well written and easy to read, the book offers a fascinating and overdue insight into one of the greatest icons of recent times. I highly recommend it!

Reads like a thriller, only better!
This account is an exciting, fascinating and, in places, nostalgic read! No wonder it was adapted for film ... The author transports you back to 1940s Africa with ease and paints a vivid picture of the lives of those involved, their actions, words and accounts of events are examined in fascinating detail and leave you wanting more. Highly recommended!
