Sharp, Bright and Wide View
Very good binoculars with bright view and neutral colours. Focus snaps in very sharply and there is a good depth of field. The field of view is wide and only partly affected by spectacle wearing with the rubber eyepieces folded down. Reviews over the years point to these as a 'sleeper' amongst high quality porroprism binoculars. My experience in sunlight shows they are very good at preventing flare from off centre sources; at dusk they provide brighter views than expected in the gloom due to ED glass and the 32mm objective lenses. Very good value at this price but be aware they are not waterproof.

Lightweight and easy to carry around
It is difficult to get 12x 25 compact binoculars of any quality; they are moderately sharp, well made with fine focusing. These seem reasonably good for ones with a small exit pupil of just over 2mm. They are fine for occasional viewing of far distances or wading birds on far shorelines where 8x binoculars cannot give enough magnification. They work well in bright conditions but towards dusk details are difficult to pick up. To be fair that is what is to be expected by the laws of optics; to compensate they are lightweight, compact and easy to carry around. As they say the best binoculars are the ones you have with you; heavyweight 12x50s are more likely to be left at home when walking or cycling.
