These work great!
I had read that these are well designed machines that perform consistently and reliably. Mine was purchased used and it was in excellent condition cosmetically, so far it makes great coffee. I recommend getting the reusable K-Cups to cut back on waste. Maybe Keurig can coordinate the recycling of K-Cups like Nespresso and renew the plastic materials to make refillable ink pens or something?

Great book. Have a dictionary and some other references handy.
The author of this book was a retired economics professor from Harvard. I assume he was heavily steeped in the traditional/classic ways of thought and using language. The text rolls along really heavy as it expounds and expands. The subject is immense and attempting to describe machinery with words is very difficult and frustrating for the reader. The approach to describing the processes and history philosophically is modest and not intimidating, but the language is very eloquent. It is great to see it.

Good buy
My pair arrived as described. These are pretty good compared to others I've had. The max compression level made me feel a bit puny, but I've improved. Slow to close, hold, slowly open. 15-20 reps means you could go to 90lbs. Quick repetitions for stamina and definition can be done on a lower setting. Watch it though. You could force carpal tunnel upon yourself by thickening the tendon in your wrist and cutting blood flow and altering nerve activity. Also, cuboid (disorder?) with the ulnar tendon and nerve at the elbow. (Pressure on elbows could cut blood flow to your two outside fingers[numbness and may cause loss of strength because of lack of feel for motor control management]) Moderation. Good luck.
