VOX Remote
1 of 1 found this helpful So far excellent service and speed however the VOX Remote application which is embedded into the unit, and was promissed to work by TIVO and stated compatable to this day still gets an error when trying to use the VOX application on the remote!!
TIVO is awaqre of this issue, and should be totally compatable with no issues, being that this is a 4K Ultra unit! Very dissapointed the VOXdoes not work!! All efforts exausted on this, sad sad sad Tivo get this working! its an app thing and possible port issue with the ISP

Sent this back, not what I wanted

2 Reasons
Cable goes out...you can instal a A/B 75ohm switch between your cable and antenna and be able to still record off OTA, also eventually we are weeding out our cable for the most part, once we do we will still be able to see our fav shows via Internet, and OTA
Have been up for almost a week, and love the tivo!!!! Highly recomended for someone that wants to cut the cord on their over priced rental of a DVR unit as well as their fees on services and the program guide they charge you for each month.
Pay the one time lifetime fee and be gone cable box rental!!!!!!
Cable companies are sucking people dry on their services!
And the quality....OUTSTANDING!!! But get the Bolt 1 TB Great machine with VOX
