I’ve been a bus driver all my life working life, started out as a conductor & then driver at 21. 3 days before my retirement at London Transport I had two strokes which lead to heart failure. Anyway I was at Middle Row Garage for some years on 52s 7 28 service, then went to Putney Garage on routes 14 & 22 services then to Tottenham Garage on the route 73 nice route that was it was busy like the 52s. Then my strokes came along & finished my driving but only had three days left. I miss the job.
