His Dark Materials Trilogy
Thought provoking series. Questions religious beliefs & organized church doctrine. To what lengths will religious zealots go to promote & protect their views. All couched in a sci-fi/ fantasy quest. Good characterization with enough action to keep you turning pages.

Alec Baldwin as the SHADOW
Alec Baldwin was a fine Shadow. Story was good, plenty of action. A little humor & good special effects. I don't hesitate recommending this pulp characters movie. THUMBS UP !!!
