The Alan Parsons Project - The Turn Of A Friendly Card
I remember buying this album on 'vinyl' about 25 years ago, and playing it to death, at various parties around the village. To be honest, I could not really remember much about this album, and so it was bought on a bit of a whim.
Well, on first play, memories came flooding back, but more importantly, this album is truly as fresh, as it was 25 years ago. This 2008 remastered CD, has really brought the over the top instrumentals on 'Maybe a price to pay' & 'Turn of a friendly card' to a stunning level. The Subtle tones on 'Time' are crystal clear, and the guitar solo on 'Snake Eyes', outstanding.
This is a 'prog rock' album, with a great storyline running through it, of which I won't tell. You'll have to buy it to make your own storyline choice.
Do I recommend it?, YOU BET!, if you like your music, varied, with a bit of Rock and full monty instrumentals, and a ballad or two, then this ones for you!.
Don't be put off by it's original release date (1979?). It really is a class album. Buy it, and ENJOY!.

Buy one!
Although now over 10years old, the HMC150/151 can still compete with more modern cams. The range of options when filming, is quite astounding, but online you will find many tutorials, to improve your filming skills. Being a mid form camera, it is quite large, and does benefit from being mounted on a tripod. When I,m out and about filming, I quite often get asked 'who are you filming for?' such is the presence, of this model. Highly recommended for people who want to improve their video skills (not relying on auto mode!).
