Far from intuitive

It works, all the functions are there but I hadn't realised you could buy an alarm clock where you really have to read the instructions just to turn the alarm on and off. Probably great as a desk clock but lack of back light and awkward setting means I would not recommend it as a beside alarm. I did like the fact it played auld Lang syne when I put the battery in though

year 3 maths loving daughter is enjoying it no end

There is an online test to decide which book to start on in the series, I didn't know about it until after if bought the book but it's just the right level for my year 3 daughter and she is loving it.
