Typical design flaw
It rotates freely where bunch and gooseneck join so there's no way to keep it in position it will simply rotate to whatever gravity dictates

The "Best Buy" from Fender

I have had an American 57 reissue from the 80's and loved it but this one is even smoother, the quality is great and the wiring which is particular to Eric Johnson guitars has the tones I love. I and many others think that the quality of this model is the best you can get without buying a custom shop fender. I was concerned at first that the slightly wider neck width at the top of the neck wouldn't feel right to me but after a brief adjustment period it feels perfectly natural and allows for more clean bending. If I could own only one guitar an E.J. would be the one.
